Bagel heads

This is old news, but there was (or still is) this creepy, not-so-popular-trend that was going around Japan last year known as "bagel head." So what people were doing was getting injections of saline solution into their foreheads to give them the appearance of a bagel. Pretty gross right? The effects of this injection only last a couple of hours, but why get it in the first place?
